Defendant was charged under the Second Offender Act with unlawful possession of Lysergic Acid Diethylamide, commonly known as "LSD", a Schedule I controlled substance. Sections 195.017, 195.020, and 195.200, RSMo Supp.1973. He was found guilty by a jury as charged and the court, after making the requisite findings relative to the Second Offender Act, fixed his punishment at nine years confinement...
