This is an appeal from a judgment awarding support for a minor child born out of wedlock. Plaintiff commenced the action by filing her verified petition to compel support pursuant to IC 1971, 31-4-1-9 (Burns Code Ed., Supp. 1974). Following hearing, the referee of the juvenile division found defendant to be the father of plaintiff's child.
