This is an appeal and cross-appeal from a judgment of the district court setting aside a mortgage foreclosure made pursuant to a Michigan statute regulating foreclosure of mortgages by advertisement. The district court held the foreclosure proceeding violative of the due process clause of the Fourteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution and Article I, Section 17 of the Michigan Constitution of 1963.
