In this libel action the defamed was a public figure claiming injury to his reputation because of a statement, which was a matter of public concern, affecting him in his calling, published by a newspaper of general circulation. Therefore the right to recover was clearly governed by New York Times Co. v. Sullivan, 376 U.S. 254. New York Times, through the Fourteenth Amendment...
