OPINION

RABINOWITZ, Chief Justice.

Appellant asserts that the superior court committed an abuse of discretion in failing to divide the parties' marital estate properly.

The parties were married in 1950 and are childless. Appellee Homer Burrell obtained a B.S. in foreign service from Georgetown University and a Masters in International Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School of Tufts. Homer then worked for the Union Oil Company for fourteen years...
