HARRIS, Associate Judge:

Appellant was convicted in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia of prison breach in violation of D.C.Code 1973, § 22-2601. The principal contention on appeal is that the trial court lacked jurisdiction. Rivers argues that we must construe the prison breach statute as applying outside (as well as within) the District of Columbia. Relying on such a construction, appellant urges us to conclude that the Superior Court has no jurisdiction...
