The defendant, Norman Taylor, was charged with the offense of unlawful use of weapons in two separate indictments. Indictment 72-3467 charged him with carrying a concealed weapon in violation of section 24-1(a)(4) of the Criminal Code (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1971, ch. 38, § 24-1(a)(4)), and indictment 73-2167 charged the defendant with carrying a loaded revolver in violation of section...
