CALOGERO, Justice.

Defendant, Wesley Joseph Sonnier, was convicted of armed robbery in violation of La.R.S. 14:64 and was sentenced to serve 10 years at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence. He appeals, relying upon seven assignments of error in urging reversal of his conviction and sentence.
