Appellant, Jess Lewis Hager, one of three young men involved in the abduction and rape of a 30-year old married woman, received a total sentence of 40 years after his conviction by a jury in the Circuit Court for Allegany County (Getty, J. presiding) of the crimes of kidnapping, rape, perverted sex acts, robbery and larceny of a motor vehicle.
