The village of Maplewood appeals from an order denying its motion for a new trial in an eminent domain proceeding. The sole issue on appeal is whether the lower court erred in refusing to allow cross-examination of the president of the respondent owner as to the purchase price of the property 3 years and 1 month before the condemnation proceeding.
