You have asked the question as to whether that portion of the salary of a county engineer attributable to his work in connection with the construction, reconstruction, maintenance and repair of roads, highways and bridges may be paid from the County Liquid Fuels Tax Fund. It is our conclusion, and you are so advised, that such an expenditure would be proper.
