This litigation was commenced by the complaint of the plaintiff Junius McKensie against Sea-Land Service, Inc., (Sea-Land) for personal injuries sustained by him on October 12, 1972 while working as a longshoreman aboard the SL-180, a container vessel owned and operated by defendant Sea-Land. Sea-Land filed third-party complaints against Atlantic & Gulf Stevedores, Inc., [A & G] the employer of McKensie, and B & G Crane Service...
