This action was brought by Lawrence Arthur Buchholtz individually and as next friend of his daughter, Victoria Jean Buchholtz, who was injured when the car she was driving was struck by a car driven by defendant, Manfred John Deitel. The case was tried in the Macomb County Circuit Court before a judge sitting without a jury.
