Plaintiff, Home Insurance Company, paid its insured, Drexel Radio Co., for merchandise stored in the Public Commodity Warehouse in the City of New Orleans which sustained water damage while a grain fire in the adjoining storage compartment was being brought under control. Subrogated to Drexel's rights upon payment of its claim, plaintiff filed suit against Degelos Brothers Grain Corporation (Degelos), lessee of the storage space where the fire originated...
