Appellant was convicted by a jury of three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, D.C.Code 1973, § 22-502, and one count of unlawful entry, D.C.Code 1973, § 22-3102, and was sentenced to three to nine years' imprisonment. The pertinent facts are that on October 27, 1973, appellant was stopped inside a Safeway grocery store in this city by three store employees who suspected him of stealing some meat...
