Defendant Marx Ernest Cooper was convicted by a jury of the crimes of (1) attempted murder, MCLA 750.91; MSA 28.286; (2) bank robbery, MCLA 750.531; MSA 28.799; and, (3) assault with intent to rob being armed, MCLA 750.89; MSA 28.284. He was sentenced on October 1, 1971, on each count to three identical terms of 5 to 25 years in prison, same to run concurrently. Defendant filed a motion for a new trial and amended...
