This appeal is from a judgment in an expropriation suit, wherein the State of Louisiana, through the Department of Highways, expropriated 1.065 acres of land in Livingston Parish for highway construction purposes. Suit was filed and the order for expropriation was signed October 14, 1965. The trial judge awarded to Harold W.
