On July 26, 1972, plaintiff-appellant Richard C. Lamere filed suit against defendant-appellee Robert Vaughn, d/b/a Rupert's Sportshop. The complaint alleged sale of defective fireworks by defendant to plaintiff, and resulting injury to plaintiff.
