CLINTON, Justice.

This is an action for medical malpractice against the defendant doctor. After the plaintiff rested her case-in-chief, the defendant moved for a directed verdict which the trial judge granted. Plaintiff appeals. We affirm.

The specific issue on appeal is whether, considering the facts shown by the evidence and the reasonable inferences which might be drawn therefrom, it was nonetheless necessary for the plaintiff to have presented expert testimony...
