Defendant school district appeals from an opinion of the Sanilac County Circuit Court affirming an opinion of the State Teachers' Tenure Commission. The commission had ruled that plaintiffs were entitled to reinstatement as tenured teachers and to back pay.

Plaintiffs were probationary teachers hired by defendant for the 1970-71 and 1971-72 school years. A letter was sent to each of the plaintiffs...
