Two separate informations were filed in the Court of Common Pleas of Ottawa County, charging defendant with robbery, a violation of R. C. 2901.12 (old law), and escape from detention, a violation of R. C. 2921.34 (new law). In both cases, an indictment was waived and pleas of guilty were entered.
