The defendants, Robert Barnett and John Thomas, were convicted of armed robbery. John Thomas was sentenced to the penitentiary for not less than 5 nor more than 8 years while Robert Barnett was sentenced to not less than 6 nor more than 12 years. They appeal their convictions arguing that prosecutorial improprieties denied them a fair trial, that the trial court erred in permitting reference...
