Defendant-appellant was convicted of the offense of assault with intent to commit great bodily harm less than murder, MCLA 750.84; MSA 28.279, by a jury on June 21, 1973. He was sentenced to five to ten years in prison on July 12, 1973. On September 6, 1974, this Court, retaining jurisdiction, granted defendant's motion to remand for further proceedings to determine whether constitutionally infirm prior convictions were considered in aggravation...
