On August 10, 1973 defendants, Albert Love, Imari Obadele and Earl Gordon, were arrested and charged with carrying a dangerous weapon in an automobile, MCLA 750.227; MSA 28.424. Defendant Obadele was also charged with possession of a controlled substance (phencyclidine) contrary to MCLA 335.341(4)(b); MSA 18.1070(41)(4)(b).
