Defendant Braun is the owner of property in Bloomfield Hills. Plaintiff Froling sought specific performance on his contract with Braun for the sale of the property. Plaintiff Greater Bloomfield Real Estate Company brought suit for a ten percent broker's commission it claims was earned by bringing about the contract with Froling.
