Petitioners brought a malpractice suit against the real parties in interest1 and two other defendants. As the case was proceeding, the respondents sought an order under Code of Civil Procedure section 1281.2, subdivision (a), to compel arbitration pursuant to a signed agreement, which the trial court granted.
