On January 11, 1974, Huffman Towing, Inc. (Huffman), a Missouri corporation, filed a complaint in admiralty against Mainstream Shipyard & Supply, Inc. (Mainstream), a Mississippi corporation, for the arrest of the M/V H. F. LEONARD (ex M/V HAVANA ZEPHYR).
