In this case the appellant, Mattie L. Montgomery, appeals from the District Court's affirmance of the Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare's denial of her application for total disability Social Security benefits. The appellant exhausted all of her administrative remedies and filed her petition for an award of disability benefits in the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky.
