Plaintiff-appellee A & H Lumber Sales Company [A & H]1 is a Mobile, Alabama, firm which imports and sells various sorts of South American hardwoods. Defendant-appellant Companhia de Navagacao Lloyd Brasileiro [Lloyd] is a Brazilian steamship company.
