In the District Court, Grady County, Case No. CRF-73-16, appellant, George Edward Fred, hereinafter referred to as defendant, was charged and tried for the offense of Murder. He was convicted by a jury for the lesser included offense of Manslaughter in the First Degree, in violation of 21 O.S. 1971, § 711.
