Plaintiff Glenn Chambers brought an action against defendant school district alleging a breach of his contract to teach in the Tygh Valley elementary school during the 1973-74 school year. After a jury trial a verdict was returned for plaintiff in the sum of $5,517.84, which was the amount prayed for in the complaint less the stipulated amount of $2,657.16 in mitigation.
