LANGTRY, Judge.

This is an appeal by the State Highway Commission from a compensation award made by jury verdict and judgment in a condemnation case. The Commission condemned 37.5 acres of defendant Boothmans' property in connection with construction of the Ladd Canyon Part of Interstate Highway 30 freeway. The freeway followed a previously existing highway and cut across the defendants' cattle ranch, leaving approximately 1,100 acres on the west side of the highway...
