In this diversity action the purchasers of manufacturing equipment sued the seller-manufacturer for damages. The plaintiffs sought to recover for alleged breach of express and implied warranties, fraud and negligence. In its counterclaim the defendant sought recovery on an account, which was undisputed, and damages allegedly incurred by it as the result of fraudulent misrepresentations of the plaintiffs.
