The National Labor Relations Board found that respondent Booth Services, Inc. ("the Company") violated sections 8(a)(1) and 8(a)(3) of the National Labor Relations Act [29 U.S.C. §§ 158(a)(1), 158(a)(3)]. Among the violations was a requirement by the Company that its employees join the Oil, Chemical and Atomic Workers International Union, AFL-CIO, Local 4-449 ("OCAW").
