At the close of plaintiff's proofs during a jury trial in Lapeer County Circuit Court, defendants moved for and were granted a directed verdict. Plaintiff appeals as of right.

On an appeal from a directed verdict, the reviewing court must view the facts presented at trial in the light most favorable to the opposing party. Kieft v Barr, 391 Mich. 77; 214 N.W.2d 838
