ROBERTS, Judge.

This is an appeal from a conviction for felony theft; punishment was assessed by the jury at imprisonment for five (5) years.

It is appellant's contention that the confession introduced at trial was the result of coercion, threats, and fear and, consequently, is invalid and inadmissible. Chambers v. Florida, 309 U.S. 227, 60 S.Ct. 472, 84 L.Ed. 716 (1940). Because of our disposition
