SMITH, Chief Judge.

Defendant was convicted of three counts of first degree robbery upon a verdict of a jury and was sentenced to five years on each count, the sentences to run consecutively. He appeals.

A group of people were assembled at the apartment of Rodgers Haines on the night of the robbery. Someone knocked on the door and upon response Mr. Haines went out into the hall. He stated that something was sprayed into his eyes which temporarily blinded him...
