The judgment in this case was entered pursuant to the granting of the defendant's motion for summary judgment based on the trial court's conclusion that the entire action was barred by the applicable statute of limitations. A corollary ruling was that plaintiff was not entitled to amend the complaint to add a later transaction. The court reasoned that this latter claim was also barred by the statute of limitations.
