This appeal is from a judgment of conviction against Billy Ray Kidwell for knowingly possessing a single barrel sawed-off shotgun, not registered under the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record, in violation of 26 U.S.C. §§ 5861(d) and 5871.1 The sole issue on appeal is whether the district court should have granted defendant's motion to suppress the shotgun as evidence on the ground that it was obtained...
