On July 30, 1969, the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) entered into an agreement with the Philadelphia Suburban Transportation Company (PSTC) whereby SEPTA contracted to purchase the assets of PSTC including the Buck Lane Bridge under which run the rail lines of PSTC. On December 22, 1969, before the transaction was closed on January 29, 1970...
