This is an appeal by defendants1 from a judgment rendered upon a jury verdict in favor of the trustee in bankruptcy for William S. Edgemon, for $193,200, in an action alleging an illegal preference under § 60(b) of the Federal Bankruptcy Act [11 U.S.C. § 96(b)]. The complaint alleged that defendant Kelly received $125,000 in general obligation bonds and $30,000 in cash shortly before Edgemon's bankruptcy...
