STEWART, Judge.

Defendant appeals from a conviction by a jury of stealing property of the value of at least $50.00, a felony punishable by imprisonment in the penitentiary under § 560.1561 and § 560.161. Under the provisions of the Habitual Criminal Act, § 556.280, the trial court assessed punishment at eight years imprisonment. We affirm.
