This is a petitory action. The plaintiff, William T. Burton Industries, Inc., claims ownership of a 40-acre tract of land by recorded title. The defendants in possession are Ivey Cook and his four children, who have a recorded title to the land adjoining the 40 acres on the west, and who claim 4.69 acres off of the west side of plaintiff's 40 acres by the acquisitive prescription of 30 years.
