OPINION

BATJER, Justice.

A jury found appellant James William Hilt guilty of first degree murder and set his penalty at life imprisonment with possibility of parole. The trial court denied him a new trial, and this appeal follows.

Hilt was convicted of the murder of Lee Page Merkle, whose body was found the morning of December 26, 1971, in the parking lot of Clark County's outdoor sports stadium located between Henderson, Nevada and the Las Vegas...
