On October 16, 1972, Jeff Brumfield and his wife, Fannie B. Brumfield, obtained a mortgage loan from the plaintiff, Plan Investments, Inc., in the amount of $5,519.64 payable in monthly installments of $65.71. The loan was secured by a mortgage on their home.
