MARCUS, Justice.

Defendant, James Nicholas, Jr., was charged by bill of information with the crime of manslaughter. He was tried by a jury on April 19, 1973 in the Eighteenth Judicial District Court for the Parish of West Baton Rouge. He was found guilty as charged and subsequently sentenced to 6 years at hard labor. On appeal, he relies upon two assignments of errors for reversal of this conviction and sentence.
