Plaintiff filed this suit seeking to enforce an alleged oral contract made in connection with the sale of immovable property to defendant and, alternatively, for damages for breach of the contract. The trial judge sustained an exception of no right of action as to two tracts of land purchased by defendant at sheriff's sale and an exception of no cause of action as to a tract which defendant purchased directly from plaintiff.
