William E. Greene, the plaintiff-appellee, a sole proprietor doing business as "William E. Greene Distributors", was an independent distributor of products of General Foods Corporation. Under the terms of his distributorship agreement with General Foods, Greene resold Maxwell House Coffee and other General Foods products to large institutional buyers.
