OPINION

DORIS, Justice.

This petition for the assessment of damages for the taking of a parcel of real estate by the Narragansett Redevelopment Agency was brought by the owners of the parcel pursuant to G.L. 1956 (1970 Reenactment) § 45-32-34. A Superior Court jury assessed damages at $185,000, plus interest. The respondent filed a motion for a new trial which was denied, and judgment was entered in the amount assessed by the jury.
