Clifford H. Yazzi died on 4 March 1972 after working approximately 20 years as an underground uranium miner in the Cove Mining District of Arizona. His widow, Fannie Begay Yazzie, filed a claim for benefits, which was received by the Commission on 8 March 1973.2 The claim was denied by the insurance carriers
